NūrNetics is a thoughtfully built, UK-focused madrasah platform with a clear point of view: AI should do the heavy lifting on admin, from term reports to leadership briefings. Labbaik takes a different angle — we use AI too, but treat it as a quiet utility rather than the headline feature, delivered through WhatsApp rather than a new tool to learn. Where NūrNetics shines
NūrNetics has invested real effort in safeguarding and compliance — generated DPA/DPIA packs, row-level security, audit trails and tiered access controls are a genuine strength. Its Islamic Knowledge Passport, tracking surahs and duas through graduation, is a thoughtful addition. Its ZAID assistant is a capable tool for a coordinator comfortable directing an AI to draft reports and summarise data, and can save real time for a tech-savvy teacher or admin.
AI: a fit for some committees more than others
Most maktabs and madrasahs are run by a committee of volunteers rather than a full-time IT-literate admin. NūrNetics' product is positioned heavily around AI — generation credits, prompts and a named assistant sit at the centre of how it's presented. That suits a school with someone who wants to get hands-on with an AI tool directly. It asks more of a board that would rather the system work without a new concept to explain at committee meetings.
